Campaign
The aims and objectives of the campaign group will be:
- To lobby for a public inquiry into the development of large-scale intensive dairy units to investigate, fully, the issues regarding the environment, public health and animal welfare.
- To lobby for the suspension of any current planning applications relating to large-scale intensive dairy units until a public enquiry has reported their findings.
- To object to the Nocton Dairies Ltd planning applications relating to an intensive dairy on Nocton Heath.
- To obtain support for our action within the local community and UK as a whole.
- To raise awareness of issues relating to the intensive dairy industry.
- To ensure a duty of care to all members of the campaign group.
- To provide information in a way that is fair to everyone.
